The Office of the Governor

As the constitutional head of Madhya Pradesh, the Governor serves as the vital link between the Union Government and the State, exercising powers enshrined in the Constitution of India.

Executive Functions

All executive action of the state is carried out in the name of the Governor. The Governor appoints the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, and oversees the administration of the state.
